One capability that sets PDS apart from the rest is our proprietary sinker EDM process.  Due to a customer demand for a part that could not be machined conventionally PDS has developed a long stroke EDM process that cannot be found anywhere else.  With a maximum stroke depth of 68" and a working piece size of 38" x 36" x 90" we can machine features in parts that no else can while maintaining profile tolerances as tight as 0.003".  

We have eight custom built sinker EDM machines in-house.  As required, we make and maintain all roughing and finishing electrodes in-house.    Our machines have also been customized to process multiple parts at the same time significantly increasing capacity and consistency from run to run.
